Description
This two-day course will give you practical tips for mastering urinary and perineal surgery. Designed to be hands-on and informal, the course
includes brief descriptions of each technique, followed by paired work on cadavers. This format will ensure you have plenty of time to practise
the procedures.Topics to be covered include:
- Cystotomy and tube cystostomy
- Partial cystectomy
- Cystopexy
- Scrotal urethrostomy
- Urethrotomy
- Management of urethral prolapse (seen in juvenile Bulldogs)
- Anal sacculectomy
- Perineal hernia repair
- Tail skin flaps for closure of perineal and lower back wounds
- Vulvoplasty and episiotomy
