  • Description

Dental radiography is one of the most important tools available to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of dental diseases. By working together, vets and vet nurses can quickly obtain diagnostic full-mouth dental radiographs in the dog and cat, ultimately saving time, and leading to better patient care, client satisfaction, practice income and professional fulfilment.

This practical one-day course suitable for both vets and vet nurses is designed to cover all aspects of dental radiography in the dog and cat. Oral radiography techniques will be covered in lecture format, with practical sessions on positioning. Dental radiology (radiographic interpretation) will also be covered for veterinary surgeons attending, while vet nurses will gain extensive hands-on experience in generating diagnostic full-mouth dental radiographs in the dog and cat.

    Topics to be covered include:

    • Dental radiography equipment and techniques
    • Radiographic assessment - is it diagnostic?
    • Radiographic interpretation - what does it mean?
    • Practical sessions to consolidate theory
    • Fast and efficient full-mouth radiographs in the dog and cat
