An eight-part learning series for vets with specialists Roger Powell and Mark Goodfellow.
Lymphoma is one of the most common small animal neoplasms but it can often require a multi-disciplinary approach to diagnose and a patient-specific choice of therapy because lymphoma is, in fact, a group of related but distinct diseases.
Understanding the differences between different lymphoma types allows for a more specific diagnosis, better monitoring of treatment and selection of targeted therapy. This maximises the opportunity to choose a well-tolerated protocol and achieve an extended period of good quality of life.
This series, uniquely co-lectured by both a specialist clinical pathologist and an oncologist, provides an initial brief overview of lymphoma followed by a specific case-based discussion on how to investigate, diagnose and then treat many of the various common types of lymphoma faced in practice. Each case is extensively illustrated with images to run through the diagnosis and management.
