Lisa joined the Royal Veterinary College’s, Queen Mother Hospital for Animals as a dedicated anaesthesia nurse in February 2010. Previous to this, Lisa spent 7 years in a busy primary care practice. In 2013, Lisa was promoted to Head Anaesthesia Nurse and now leads a team of anaesthesia nurses and theatre and diagnostics assistants.
In 2012 Lisa became board certified as a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Anaesthesia and Analgesia, and in 2020 Lisa studied for, and graduated with a Post Graduate certificate in Veterinary Education. Lisa has lectured on many anaesthesia topics both nationally and internationally. Lisa has a keen interest in pain management and is passionate about promoting and inspiring nurses to start performing local anaesthetic techniques!
