Eleanor Haskey

RVN BSc(Hons) PGCert VTS(ECC) VPAC A1

Emergency & Critical Care RVN

I graduated in 2008 from the University of Bristol with a BSc honours degree as a RVN.  I moved to the Midlands where I worked in a mixed practice for 2 years before returning to the University of Bristol as Senior ICU nurse. I spent 4 years back at Bristol where I studied for and gained the VTS(ECC) qualification in 2012. In 2013 I moved to London where I joined the Royal Veterinary College Emergency and Critical Care team where I was Head ECC nurse for 4 years. In 2020 I stepped back into the team so that I could focus on clinical nursing in addition to mentoring and teaching students working in the hospital. I have lectured internationally, written several articles and also contributed to book chapters. I peer review articles for The Veterinary Nurse and I am on the committee for EVECCS and BSAVA.
