Rabbits are the third most common pet in the UK, but since they are seen less frequently than cats and dogs, gaining familiarity with their treatment is more challenging. As a prey species, rabbits also present later in an emergency and display more subtle clinical signs. In addition, their surgeries are more complicated due to their small size and need for delicate tissue handling.
This learning series with Molly Varga is designed to give you confidence dealing with emergency cases and managing patients through surgery. The videos describe how established surgical techniques can be applied to procedures beyond neutering and cystotomy, while also discussing strategies to reduce complications.
