An extensive learning series containing ten videos with specialists Anne Kurosawa and Kieran Borgeat covering some more advanced aspects of canine and feline cardiology, as outlined below:

Echocardiography Series:

This four video learning series with Anne Kurosawa  is designed to develop your skills in performing diagnostic echocardiography in practice. Helping you feel confident in acquiring standard echocardiographic views of both the right and left heart, as well as performing M-mode and Doppler studies in a variety of dogs. It reviews typical echocardiographic findings associated with common conditions such as valvular endocardiosis, dilated cardiomyopathy, and feline cardiomyopathies. Congenital heart diseases, including pulmonic stenosis, patent ductus arteriosus, and subaortic stenosis are also explored.

Cardiac Arrhythmias in Practice: From Diagnosis to Management Series:

Abnormal heart rhythms are common, resulting from both cardiac and non-cardiac disease. Some require emergency treatment, whilst others can be safely disregarded. But how confident are you in making that assessment? Do you consider the likelihood of a congenital accessory pathway, or look at the ECG machine with trepidation for fear of what you might find? Either way, we can help!  This six video learning series with Kieran Borgeat focuses on the diagnosis and management of cardiac arrhythmias, from the basics of ECG reading, to decision-making around when and how to treat dogs affected by clinically significant arrhythmias. Lecture-based and interactive formats are used to review various cardiac conduction system abnormalities and their relevance to affected dogs and cats. It also discusses when and how to treat, providing examples of contextualised care for patients with minimal or no access to diagnostic tests, since arrhythmias do not occur only in referral hospitals.
