Managing emergency and critical care patients can be both rewarding and demanding, particularly when urgent procedures need to be performed quickly and confidently to stabilise or save a patient.Â
This highly practical two-day course is designed to help you develop the hands-on skills needed to manage a range of common emergency surgical presentations and essential stabilisation procedures more effectively in practice.Â
Across the weekend, you will combine focused discussion of indications, rationale and case management with extensive wet-lab practical sessions, allowing you to apply the theory in a clinically relevant setting. From emergency abdominal and thoracic procedures to airway, vascular access and nutritional support techniques, the course is designed to help you leave with greater confidence in performing key ECC procedures in your own practice.
