We’ve collaborated with Vet Dynamics to bring you The Vet Graduate Academy Platinum Package.
Combining the strengths of Central CPD’s clinical training and Vet Dynamics’ personal and commercial skills development, The Vet Graduate Academy Platinum Package is a unique 12-month programme which complements the RCVS VetGDP.
The programme combines bespoke business and interpersonal skills coaching with clinical training, via face-to-face workshops, practical courses, mentorship, online programmes, specialist-led case discussions, as well as access to over 2,000 clinical CPD videos.
Delegates will have the opportunity to develop their skills, build key relationships and comradery with their peers and grow in confidence in their new career. The package also includes a free Central CPD On-Demand mentor account.

Hands-on training
- Small group cadaver-based practical courses held in our purpose-built clinical skills lab, tailor-made for graduates and led by our approachable and experienced specialists.
- Two-day practical surgery course – to improve surgical techniques and confidence in common small animal surgical cases.
- One-day practical dentistry course – to strengthen decision-making ability and skill-set in dental cases and procedures.
- One-day practical ultrasonography course – a focus on basic abdominal ultrasound skills to improve diagnostic capability in internal medicine and ECC.
Specialist-led case discussions
- Regular live specialist led case discussion sessions – case presentations to understand an expert’s approach to common cases, and the opportunity to discuss personal cases within the group.
- Closed social media Vet Graduate Academy group to discuss cases with other Graduates.
- Access to Central CPD’s closed Facebook case discussion group with over 6,000 vet members, offering regular posts and advice.
On-demand clinical learning
- A structured EPA-based 50-hour online training programme which will provide core valuable knowledge that can be accessed any time in any order as needed over the 12-month programme.
- Unlimited access to Central CPD On-Demand, providing 24-7 access to over 2,000 videos.
- A wide variety of clinical lectures, how-to videos and practical tips, that can be used as a useful reference library for clinical cases or to concentrate on areas of interest.
- Clinical coaches also receive a free annual subscription to Central CPD On-Demand (RRP £474+ VAT) giving them unlimited access to CPD content, and the ability to track and adapt their graduate’s online learning over the year.
Personal and commercial skills development
- Six one-day workshops in: Mindset and planning, Energy and time management, Improving personal and interpersonal performance, Assertiveness and emotional intelligence, Understanding finance in practice and Managing performance and client care.
- Skills development in areas such as professional resilience, communication, and commercial awareness.
- Learning tools to help combat the key causes of stress and fatigue in practice, build confidence and professional esteem.
- Understanding of the business-workings of a practice which help to improve clinical standards, consultation delivery and profitability in practice.
- One-to-one coaching.

Are you a practice with a graduate vet secured?
If you already have a graduate secured, an initial deposit of £958.33 +VAT will be required at registration via Direct Debit. Payment plans are available or payments can be made in instalments, with the full balance due before the start of the first attendance course. Please also make sure you have your delegates full name, email address, and contact number to hand before reserving a place.

Are you a practice but haven’t recruited a graduate vet yet?
For a (non-refundable) 20% deposit, we will advertise your graduate position to our database of vet students who have expressed interest in working for an independent practice.
You’ll also be able to display the Vet Graduate Academy logo in job listings to demonstrate to potential new employees that they will be well supported and have access to a bespoke structured programme throughout their first year.
