Georgie graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2005 and started her career in small animal practice for 3 years before moving into referral ophthalmology. She gained her RCVS certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2011 before moving to Davies Veterinary Specialists to undertake a residency in under the European College of Veterinary Ophthalmology. Georgie passed her European diploma in 2016 and is an RCVS Recognised Specialist in Veterinary Ophthalmology. She remains part of the busy team at Davies Veterinary Specialists in Hertfordshire, running a weekly satellite clinic at their Hyde Park branch.
