In 2012, Emily Thomas, BA VetMB DACVECC DECVECC FHEA MRCVS, completed her Residency training programme at the University of Pennsylvania, USA. After this, she returned back to the UK to work in private referral clinic before moving to the RVC for one year. Following this, she became a Senior Lecturer in Emergency and Critical Care at the University of Edinburgh. Emily has widely published peer reviewed journals as well as speaking at national and international conferences.

Emily works for Dick White Referrals as an Emergency and Critical Care Consultant, since 2019, and is an American and European Boarded Specialist in Emergency and Critical Care. Emily is also a certified RECOVER Instructor.
