Charlie graduated from the Royal Veterinary Collage in 2014. After first graduating and working for his first 2 years he hated dentistry and found it incredibly stressful and frustrating. After attending a practical CPD course and some webinars he grew to hate them a little bit less. This developed slowly into a passion. He worked in general practice for 7 years, undertaking a certificate in Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery during this time. Between 2021 and 2024 he completed his residency at The Ralph Veterinary Referrals.

Charlie’s current role is divided between working at Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists and for the Advance Clinical Services Network (ACSN), providing support for general practitioners with mobile dentistry. He particularly enjoys endodontics (root canals) and mandibular fracture repair, and has a recent passion for 3D printing and it’s application in fracture management.

Teaching is a particular passion of his, and he enjoys passing on his enthusiasm for dentistry and oral surgery to others.
