Andrew graduated from the University of Bristol in 2015, having developed a passion for anaesthesia during clinical rotations at vet school. In 2017, Andrew started his specialist anaesthesia and analgesia training at The Royal Veterinary College London, gaining European specialist status in November 2021. Following his specialist training Andrew worked as a senior clinician at The RVC for one year, spent two years at The Ralph Veterinary Referral Centre and then joined London Vet Specialists, where he is currently the head of the anaesthesia and analgesia service.
Andrew has particular interest and experience in managing critically ill patients (particularly those following trauma), as well as those with advanced respiratory and cardiac disease. He has published research in a number of areas, focussing mostly on ultrasound-guided locoregional anaesthesia. These skills allow for advanced management of both acute and chronic pain.
