Tactical Casualty Combat - Special Operation Forces for the Danish Armed Forces
Julie Pio Kragelund graduated as a veterinarian in Denmark in 2005. From 2005-2013 she worked in Small Animal Practice with a big focus on emergency and critical care and advanced imaging.
In 2013 she joined the Danish Armed Forces and worked specifically with the military working dog in the Special Armed Forces and the Sirius Sledged Patrol in North East Greenland.
She has been educating soldiers as well as medics, doctors, nurses, dog handlers and Special Operation Forces in The Danish Armed Forces in tactical casualty combat care K9 (TCCCK9). She also teach the K9-line at the NNSOCM which is the Nordic/Dutch/Belgian Special Operation Combat Medic course.
Julie is a NATO qualified TCCCK9 instructor and have also trained vets, technicians and others in NATO-courses.
She usually works with the MARCH-ON or CABcDE algorithm.
Julie also holds a Diploma in journalism and has extensive adult pedagogic education.
In the civilian life, she´s also an certified first aid and wilderness first aid instructor, as well as author of four books about outdoor life and wilderness first aid.
