Rebecca qualified from Cambridge. She spent two years in General Practice before returning to academia completing a PhD investigating mucosal immune responses in German Shepherd Dogs at the Royal Veterinary College. She then underwent specialist training in Internal Medicine at Davies Veterinary Specialists becoming a Royal College Specialist in 2010. Rebecca then founded the medicine department at North West Veterinary Specialists and contributed to the development of the hospital into a large multi disciplinary referral hospital. More recently she has moved back into independent referral practice at Peninsula Veterinary Referrals and will also be starting as Senior Lecturer in Internal Medicine at the UCLAN Veterinary School.
