Have a question or need help finding information? Take a look at our commonly asked questions below, or contact us for support with anything else.
1. Can I reserve a place on a course and have the invoice sent directly to my practice?
Yes – simply click ‘Reserve a place’ on the course you wish to join, and once you’ve submitted your practice details, select ‘Reservation’ in the payment section, and you’ll be able to download an invoice for your practice to pay via BACS or online.
2. I’m having trouble logging into my account.
Please double check that you are attempting to login on the correct website. We have two websites: www.ccpd.ehstaging.net is our attendance course site for in-person courses, and www.centralcpd.com is our On-Demand site which hosts our online content.
3. Can I park at your venue?
We don’t have our own parking facilities, but limited, metered on-street parking for up to four hours is available close to our venues on Cleaver Square. Nearby spaces for long-stay parking can be found using apps such as www.justpark.com, www.yourparkingspace.co.uk, www.parkopedia.com and www.parkonmydrive.com.
If you are bringing a dog we can provide a permit for on-street parking for you. Please email your car registration, make and model, as well as your course name and date to enquiries@centralcpd.co.uk.
4. Can I cancel my booking?
You have the right to cancel your booking and receive a full refund within seven working days of the order date. Cancellations received after seven working days but at least 28 days before the course date will receive a refund less 20%. Cancellations received less than 28 days before the course date will not be refunded, and in most cases, rescheduling will not be possible.
Please see our Cancellation Policy for full details.
5. Can I book a course on behalf of a colleague?
Yes, to reserve a place for your colleague, simply click ‘Reserve a place’ on the course, and then in the ‘Delegate details’ section, you’ll be able to provide your colleague’s information to ensure they receive all relevant course details.
6. What’s the difference between Central CPD On-Demand subscriptions and Central CPD Membership?
Central CPD On-Demand subscriptions give delegates access to all of our On-Demand online CPD content. We offer monthly (£54+VAT) or annual (£474+VAT) individual subscriptions, or annual practice subscriptions for up to 20 users (£2,400+VAT – additional users can be added for £120+VAT). Find out more on our On-Demand website.
Central CPD Membership gives delegates access to all of our On-Demand online CPD content, as well as free theory attendance courses and half price practical attendance courses.
Membership costs £795+VAT a year for vets, and £495+VAT a year for vet nurses. Practices can also purchase Practice Membership, with prices varying depending on the number of vets and nurses requiring access. Find out more on our Membership page.
7. How many hours of CPD do your courses count for?
Our one-day courses count for seven hours of CPD and our two-day courses count for 14 hours. You will receive a certificate at the end of the course, and a record of your completed CPD hours can also be found in your account area.
8. How many people are on a course?
Our practical courses accommodate a maximum of 10-16 delegates depending on the course. The attendee numbers have been carefully considered to ensure each delegate gets plenty of hands-on time and tuition from the lecturer.
Our theory courses have a maximum limit of 25 people to keep the feel of a seminar rather than a large impersonal lecture.
9. I can’t find the course I’m looking for.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if there is a course subject you are interested in that we do not currently have in our calendar. We’re always open to new ideas for courses, or may have some in the pipeline which are not advertised yet! We can also design bespoke CPD days for practice teams. Find out more about bespoke CPD days.
10. I’ve booked a course, what happens next?
You’ll receive email confirmation of your course immediately after booking, and we’ll also send you a reminder of the details via email two weeks before the course date, as well as an SMS reminder two days before your course if you’ve provided your mobile number.
11. Can I hire your venues?
Yes, both of our venues are available to hire. Please see our venues page for more details and to book.
