This video series provides vets in general practice with an up to date overview of how to approach and treat patients presenting with diabetes mellitus, both canine and feline.
Starting with a review of the different types of diabetes mellitus encountered in veterinary practice and their causal aetiologies, it then moves on to cover the medical and dietary management options currently available and more importantly how to choose the correct option for each patient to ensure a successful outcome. Treatment options currently in clinical trial that may become available in the near future are also covered as well as an approach to those cases that you just can’t seem to stabilise
