A five-part learning series for vets with specialist Georgina Fricker.
Ophthalmic emergencies are a common challenge in small animal first opinion practice. This course aims to help the clinician perform an effective initial assessment to identify where in the eye the problem lies, if vision might be salvageable and to formulate a treatment plan.
The series covers common ophthalmic emergencies, including severe corneal ulcers, traumatic uveitis, lens luxation, glaucoma, corneal foreign bodies, and proptosis of the globe.
