An extensive learning series containing eleven videos with specialist Mike Rhodes, designed to support general practitioners in improving confidence with both medical and surgical management of common ophthalmic conditions in dogs and cats, as outlined below:
An Update on Canine and Feline Ophthalmology Series:
This learning series covers tips on the ocular examination and how to get the best out of the equipment you have in general practice. We focus on specific conditions seen in practice including uveitis, glaucoma, dry eye, lens abnormalities and retinal disease in both the dog and cat. In addition, there are presentations on corneal ulceration (including the latest thoughts on pathophysiology and treatment), as well as which ophthalmic drugs are most useful to have on your pharmacy shelf.
Ophthalmic Surgical Procedures for General Practitioners Series:
This learning series offers training on common ophthalmic surgical procedures that can be carried out in first opinion small animal practice. Background theory on each procedure is covered, with an overview on instrumentation, basic principles of microsurgery and correct preparation of the eye for surgical procedures.
