This one day course offers an in-depth exploration of cardiorespiratory emergencies in veterinary practice, focusing on the rapid identification and management of life-threatening conditions. You will gain essential skills in recognising and treating cardiac emergencies, such as arrhythmias and pericardial effusion as well as respiratory crises including upper airway, pleural space disease, and parenchymal pathology. The course also covers the pathophysiology and treatment of various forms of shock and current guidelines for cardiopulmonary arrest. The day is designed to increase your confidence to diagnose and initiate treatment in the face of life threatening emergencies.
